Course Overview

This course takes a different approach to learning shoulder ultrasound. Instead of jumping straight to scanning, you first learn the underlying anatomy in depth. Each structure is then correlated with its ultrasound appearance before you watch a high‑definition demonstration showing probe placement, image optimisation and dynamic scanning techniques. The course focuses on the **normal shoulder**, so you can confidently perform a baseline ultrasound exam before progressing to pathology or injections. With 53 lessons and three hours of video content, you will gain a solid foundation for further training and advanced courses.

Who Should Take This Course?

  • Sports medicine physicians, physical medicine & rehabilitation specialists and family physicians with a sports focus who want to integrate diagnostic ultrasound into their practice and reduce reliance on radiology.

  • Physiotherapists, chiropractors and athletic trainers seeking a structured introduction to shoulder ultrasound.

  • Radiologists, sonographers and fellows who need a refresh in shoulder sono‑anatomy and scanning technique.

  • Medical professionals preparing for advanced MSK ultrasound certificates who want a solid foundation before tackling pathology or procedures.

  • Busy clinicians with limited time – the micro‑lesson format allows you to study between clinic sessions and revisit content whenever you need a refresher.

I have purchased every MSKUS course presently available and this one, by far, is the most graphically impressive and practically rich content out there. English as a second language is bit tedious but very worth learning to understand the presenters style. If the future content remains this valuable, I would pay a fee for life-time access.

I have been following your didactics through the book , and video first on you tube and then on inigoiri for quite some time and I have to compliment the continuous improvement. Especially the three-dimensionality of the anatomy and the quality of the ultrasound teaching. Small note of minor importance: some errors in the evaluation of the correct answers to the learning tests. I really hope this teaching continues on this path and I book my membership in case you decide to deal with other joints. Congratulations again !

I liked the combination of anatomy and video presentations followed from ultrasound demonstration. The course is mainly for beginners and intermediate levels, but advanced sonographers could also benefit from a repetition. There is however room for improvement in the technical part, especially the last chapters should be reviewed and corrections need to be made. I also cannot log in from other computers and need to request a new password every time (probably a bug). Overall I find the course good and would definitely recommend it.
